It is estimated that currently there are over 550 million people accessing the Internet on a daily basis worldwide. The kind of information sought on the Internet varies from simply research, investment opportunities, trade, leisure, and tourism travel to in-depth information about particular systems of government and political aspirations of communities. Internet is used to not only promote products and services, but also as a platform for achieving a worldwide exposure.
Through its innovative and persistent push for the use of Information Technology in enhancing business operations, UHPL has managed over years to capture a growing number of clients for web sites. Presently UHPL controls over 80% of the market share of web designing in Uganda.
